Shared Glow

The exhibition brings together art works by international artists who have worked in Nuutajärvi, many of which were created in collaboration with local artisans. The pieces come from the village, the artists, and various collections.

Discover and collect glass treasures in Finland’s oldest glass village.

The Antique & Vintage Glass Collectors’ Fair offers the opportunity to discover unique glass treasures for your home, your collection or as a gift. At the fair, you’ll find antique glass, collectible rarities, vintage pieces and design pieces – and meet others who share a passion for glass.

Finland’s oldest glass village will soon fill with lovers of vintage glass, as the Antique & Vintage Glass Collectors’ Fair takes place in Nuutajärvi on March 7, 2026. The event offers an inspiring setting to meet fellow glass‑design enthusiasts — surrounded by the history and contemporary forms of Finnish glass, in an authentic 19th‑century factory setting.

· Admire Oiva Toikka’s iconic glass birds in the permanent Lintukoto exhibition

· Dive into the story of Finnish glass design at the Prykäri Glass Museum – featuring the Shared Glow exhibition in the Vinttigalleria and works by Samuli Parkkinen in the Aula

· Wander through the 19th‑century surroundings and explore the village’s galleries and boutiques

· Stop by Pub Airanne for a drink (after 4 PM)

· Stay overnight and complete your visit with a peaceful sleep at Kylähotelli 1793

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • The Glass Village is easy to reach by car. The village is located in the middle of forests in Urjala, between Tampere and Turku, and there is plenty of free parking available for visitors.


    By car, the trip takes less than an hour from Tampere, about an hour from Turku, and about two hours from Helsinki or Lahti.

  • Yes. The village’s own Kylähotelli 1793 offers peaceful accommodation right in the heart of the Glass Village. The hotel’s 18 unique rooms open directly into the atmosphere of an 1850s glassworks.

    Outside the summer season, cafés, restaurants, and the museum may operate with reduced opening hours. Up-to-date information can always be found on the Info page.
