On the traditional Nuutajärvi Day, the Glass Village fills with live music, good food, craftsmanship traditions, and the atmosphere of the Knife Days.

On the second weekend of June, the beginning of a historic summer is celebrated in Nuutajärvi. In the brand new hotshop, visitors can watch glassblowers shape glowing hot glass in narrated glassblowing demonstrations.

In his life-woven concert, singer-songwriter Joel Hallikainen guides the audience through more than 45 years of music, stories, and moments gathered along the way. The evening features beloved songs from across the decades, as well as rarely performed pieces that have held personal meaning for the artist himself.
